Hard Floor Cleaning Services

Daily mopping of floors is a great way to clean and maintain your facility's appearance. But without a thorough maintenance program in place, daily mopping isn't going to be enough.

To remove scuff marks and to bring back shine and luster to your floors other cleaning methods hold the answer.

When planning a maintenance program, remember that the amount and type of pedestrian and industrial traffic the surface will be subject to will determine the cleaning and maintenance needs of the floor.

Note an effective program implements all the steps needed to maintain a floor's appearance.

Daily Cleaning: This is cleaning that is done on a regular basis. This usually involves visual inspection of floors picking up of any loose paper followed by dust mopping or vacuuming, wet mopping, and or gum removal.

Interim Cleaning: When the regular cleaning procedures such as mopping, no longer maintain a floor's shine. This is the time to proceed to other cleaning methods such as spray buffing, scrubbing, and waxing. Interim cleaning done on regular schedules usually weekly or monthly help to further promote a cleaner appearance and renew beauty to a dull shine.

Restorative Cleaning: Restorative cleaning is the most labor-intensive of all the cleaning procedures. This step involves the complete removal of all floor finishes and reapplication. When both of the previous steps no longer help to maintain shine, then it time to do a restorative cleaning.

All of these scheduled steps, when implemented properly, will surely help to maintain the appearance of cleanliness. Caldwell Clean can help to work with your company and provide a program specific to the needs of your company.
